Please post your finishes

I want to invite everyone to post your LHN finishes. We want you to keep us inspired.

Stitching for a friend

I think what we are accomplishing with our exchange is becoming friends so we can feel a little more connected as a group. I am so glad that you are sharing your stories and your lives with one another. We already have a couple more ladies waiting in the wings for the next round. The next round will be drawn toward the end of September and need to be done by the end of November. Let me know your thoughts about having that be a LHN Christmas ornament exchange.

Getting acquainted

We spent yesterday getting acqainted with each other. It seems perfect to meet those who share our passion and live other places in the world. Thanks to all of you for adding to the enjoyment of our group.

Needles ready, set, stitch

Good morning Ladies,
I have emailed out the exchange names and I would encourage you to post so that we can get to know each other. If you complete other LHN projects and want to post pictures, please do. I'm hoping when you receive, you will post pictures too, so we can all see the treasures. If you would rather, you can email me at MHayzy@aol.com and I will post it for you.

Exchange starts August 1

If you are interested in joining this Little House Needlework exchange group just let me know. The rules are fairly simple. I need your name and address. You must obey by having your first round piece to the your exchange partner by October 1. You must stitch on linen or any evenweave fabric and finish the piece into a needlecase, scissor fob, ornament, for example. Finish it into something special for your partner. You may sign up at the beginning of any round. The next round will start the first of September and need to be to your exchange partner by November 1. That way you have 2 months to stitch your piece. Please post on this blog that you have received your name and post when you receive your piece. It would be wonderful too, for you to post a picture of the piece you received we can all see. We want to hear of your adventures as you stitch. Please let me know if you have other questions.
